About Us

We Believe

1. That the Bible is the word of God, Divinely inspired, infallible, and eternal.

2. That God is one, yet a Trinity, existing eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3. That Jesus Christ is God; His virgin birth, His sinless life, substitutionary death, and bodily resurrection.

4. That Satan is a real, live personal being.

5. That through Adam’s sin, as the representative head of the human race, all men are sinners in need of a Savior.

6. Salvation by grace, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

7. In baptism by believers only, by immersion only.

8. In Godly, separated living for all who are saved.

9. In the eternal blessedness of the saved and the eternal punishment of the unsaved.

10. That a scriptural church is a local, independent, self-supporting assembly of regenerated, baptized

believers joined together in fellowship, mutual edification and fulfilling of the Great Commission.

11. In the second coming of Jesus Christ coming is both imminent and personal.

Our Proclamation

1. MAN’S UNIVERSAL PROBLEM: ALL HAVE SINNED

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

2. MAN’S ETERNAL PUNISHMENT: DEATH IN HELL

“For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

3. MAN‘S FALSE HOPE: GOOD WORKS WILL SAVE ME

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

4. GOD’S GRACIOUS PROVISION: SALVATION THROUGH CHRIST

“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

5. GOD’S FAITHFUL PROMISE: YOU CAN BE SAVED

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

Our Purpose

At Open Bible Baptist we are committed to:

1. Helping people receive eternal life by them personally receiving God’s Son Jesus Christ, by faith as their Savior and Lord.

2. Building people up in God’s Word to Spiritual maturity through Bible centered preaching and teaching.

3. Sending missionaries around the world to preach the Gospel and teach the Word of God.
